If you're just beginning your pelvic health journey, know that support groups are great resources for guidance and encouragement. Sometimes, the amount of information available to you can seem overwhelming.

Also, many people in support groups are struggling or at the beginning of their journey so it may seem like everyone with this condition is struggling, but often once people do not need support anymore they are no longer active in the groups. Just a word of caution in case the support group makes you feel more anxious than supported.

Remember, you're not alone, and there's no rush—embrace the support as it comes, ask questions, and take your time to absorb the information at your own pace.
