Pelvic Floor Support Garments

What are pelvic floor support garments?

Pelvic floor support garments are specialized garments designed to provide gentle compression and support to the pelvic floor muscles while you are wearing the garment. This can help you live well with pelvic floor conditions like pelvic organ prolapse.

How do pelvic floor support garments work?

Pelvic floor support garments work by providing gentle compression to the pelvic area, which helps to support the pelvic floor muscles. Oftentimes with conditions like pelvic organ prolapse, the muscles and ligaments are overstretched. External support and gentle compression can help your body be better positioned while wearing the garment, which encourages improved comfort.

Who can benefit from pelvic floor support garments?

Pelvic floor support garments can be beneficial for women who have pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse. These support garments are meant for anyone who would wear a similar style pair of underwear but need the additional support for their pelvic floor.

What makes Hem Support Wear unique?

Not all pelvic floor support garments are equally effective. An important aspect of the support is the uplifting feeling the garment provides. Our patent-pending support hammock works with our unique high-performance fabrics and garment design to provide the uplifting feeling for your pelvic floor.

This garment was designed by women for women. We designed the garment based on real women’s bodies and wear-tested them with real people. Our first product line took over two years to refine and make the support and fit the best version it could be. Our founder, Lauren, wore the garment since the first prototype was ready and she continues to wear it today.

We offer an extended size range that you will not find in other pelvic floor support garments. Additionally, we offer two variations (curvy and straight) of each style so that you can find a fit that is more tailored to you based on your butt shape.

We are excited for you to give it a try and let us know what you think.

Product Knowledge

What is the difference between the curvy and straight style?

After extensive customer testing, we learned that having two styles of the high waisted garment allowed us to find a better fit for more people because people’s body shapes are so unique. The only difference between the two styles is how they fit around your legs and back side. Each style has our integral support panels and patent-pending support hammock. You can refer to our sizing page for more information.

How do I choose the right size for pelvic floor support garments?

It's important to choose the right size for pelvic floor support garments to ensure they provide the right level of support. Please review our sizing page for more information to ensure you get the best fit.

How many garments do I need?

We recommend a bundle of three - one to wash, one to wear and one spare.

How do I care for my Hem Support Wear garment?

Hem support garments are meant to be worn as underwear and washed after each use. We recommend they are washed on a delicate cycle in cold water and are laid flat or hung to dry. This will help preserve the integrity and life of the garment. For extra protection in the washing machine, we recommend using a lingerie bag. If you accidentally throw the garment in the dryer, it will not ruin the garment, but it will cause the fibers to wear out more quickly.

Where are Hem Support Wear’s garments made?

Our products are designed and manufactured in the United States. Currently, this is all taking place in central Texas.

What are the garments made from?

The high waisted pelvic floor support garment is made from a special blend of fabrics chosen for their high performance, gentle compression, and moisture wicking properties. They are all soft and comfortable against the skin.

Outer shell: 80% Nylon, 20% Spandex.

Why does TryNow place an authorization on my credit card?

Similar to a hotel or rental car company, TryNow authorizes your card to ensure you have the funds available. When you checkout, an authorization for the full amount of your order is placed on your card to reserve funds if you choose to keep your items. An authorization is not the same as a charge in that our systems are strictly ensuring that the card that was provided at checkout is both valid and has the appropriate funds available to cover the cost of any items kept in the future.

I thought TryNow offered a free trial but I see a charge on my card -- can you help me understand?

TryNow will not charge you for any items until the end of your trial. We do place an authorization on your card for the total amount of your order. This is how we ensure that funds can be captured for items you keep -- it’s just like a hold that hotels or rideshare apps use, and it helps protect us against fraud. The way authorizations display on your statement varies by bank. Typically, authorizations are labeled as “pending” or they will not have a date associated with the charge, indicating that the charge has not yet been posted.

When will the authorization come off of my card?

TryNow will charge and close your order after your trial + several days for any returns to process. At that point, the authorization will drop and you’ll be charged for the items you kept. Depending on your bank, it can take up to 24-48 hours for your statement to update.
