Collage featuring Just Björn collagen oats, Beyond Yoga Spacedye leggings, Plant Paper toilet paper, Hydro Flask water bottles, and a Nespresso Vertuo machine—founder’s favorite home and health essentials for August.

Founder's Perspective: My Favorite Things – August 2025 Edition: Home, Health & Healing

Every month, I try to take a moment to reflect on the little things that are making a big difference in my daily life. August has been a full one—back-to-school shifts, new routines, and plenty of emotional recalibrating for our whole family. In the midst of the chaos, I’ve been leaning hard on the tools, products, and practices that help me feel grounded—both physically and emotionally.

Here are five of my favorite things this month, from pelvic-floor-friendly recipes to the best leggings I’ve ever worn:

1. Collagen Boost Overnight Oats from Just Björn

I’ve been a long-time fan of Just Björn’s marine collagen, and this month I finally tried their Collagen Boost Overnight Oats recipe. Game. Changer. Not only does it keep me full and energized through busy mornings, but it’s also a super simple way to support my pelvic floor and connective tissue health.

Even when I don’t make the oats, I still keep this collagen in my daily routine. But having a go-to recipe makes it easier to stay consistent—and that consistency is what makes the difference.

2. Beyond Yoga Spacedye Leggings

Let me introduce you to the leggings I never want to take off: the Spacedye Caught In The Midi High Waisted Legging from Beyond Yoga. They’re buttery soft, stay perfectly in place during all my workouts (and let’s be honest, errands too), and don’t put pressure on my abdomen—which is a huge win when managing prolapse.

Flattering, functional, and so comfortable they feel like a second skin. These are firmly in my daily rotation, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

3. Plant Paper Toilet Paper

I’ve been slowly transitioning to more natural, low-tox living wherever I can, and Plant Paper has been such a fun find. I discovered them through an Instagram ad (I’ll admit it worked!), and I love knowing this toilet paper is free from dyes, bleach, and added chemicals—especially for an area of the body that’s already sensitive.

4. My Trusty Hydro Flask (and Now the Girls Have One Too)

Clint bought me a 40 oz Hydro Flask water bottle when I was pregnant with Harper, and it has truly stood the test of time. It goes everywhere with me—dinged up but still going strong. Staying hydrated is such a key part of supporting my pelvic health, digestion, and energy, and having a water bottle I love makes it way more likely to happen.

We just bought smaller versions for the girls to take to school, and I have to admit I got a little emotional seeing them fill up their bottles alongside me in the morning.

5. Nespresso Machine Revival

We’ve had a Nespresso Vertuo machine for a few years now, but we hit pause on using it for a while. I recently restocked the pods and—wow—I forgot how much I love it. I’ve been making iced espresso drinks at home in the afternoons while I work, and it’s such a cozy ritual that helps me reset.

There’s just something about sipping a homemade iced latte while crossing things off my to-do list that makes the day feel a little more doable.

Final Thoughts

These favorite things may not seem flashy, but they’re the quiet supporters of my daily wellness—mentally, emotionally, and physically. Whether it’s collagen for my pelvic floor, leggings that actually work for my body, or a reliable water bottle, I’m grateful for each one.

Do you have a favorite product or practice that’s helping you feel more supported this month? I’d love to hear it—send me a message.
