As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished and look ahead to the exciting possibilities of 2025. This year has been filled with challenges, milestones, and moments of joy—and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our community.

A Look Back at 2024

January-April: New Opportunities & Connections

January kicked off with a bang as we were awarded the Jessica Vollman Foundation grant and joined the Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (KS WELI) FounderHER Program Spring 2024 cohort. We also had the honor of speaking on panels about resilience and goal-setting, setting the tone for a year full of growth.

In February, we received our first shipment of garments from our new production partners and mailed our first sample kits to healthcare professionals—a moment that felt like years of hard work coming to life.

March was all about momentum. Winning the UT Austin MakerLaunch Pitch Competition and showcasing at the Texas State University Innovation Lab during SXSW were huge highlights. We also expanded our healthcare outreach, sending out more sample kits to practitioners eager to learn about our products.

By April, we’d submitted another production order and wrapped up the KS WELI program engagement.

May-August: Expanding our Reach and Amplifying Conversations About Pelvic Health 

May brought opportunities to connect, with events like an IG Live with Nicole Giordano of StartUp Fashion and doing a talk at the Round Rock Startup Day. We also completed the second production run of garments, ensuring we could keep up with growing demand.

Over the summer months of June and July, we made significant progress building relationships in the community. We were featured on Dr. Sarah Boyles's podcast. We shared more stories of people who have pelvic organ prolapse, and we were thrilled to receive great feedback from customers about the difference the garment is making in their lives. We had our first Expert Spotlight interview, which was the first of many conversations focused on destigmatizing pelvic health with experts in the healthcare community. We also had an esteemed pelvic health PT try our garment and give us an incredible testimonial. 

In August, we celebrated launching our wholesale program for healthcare professionals and began working with tools to improve the customer experience.

September-December: International Launch, Achieving Growth, and Looking Ahead

September brought a big milestone—the launch of our international shipping program to four countries (Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand) and our first international order! We also doubled our newsletter cadence, making it easier to stay in touch with our community. We were also thrilled to be a sponsor of Pelvicon and make so many new connections as a result!

October and November were all about hitting new highs. October was our best sales month yet (at the time), only to be surpassed in November. We also made significant strides in our capital strategy and continued to refine our business strategy with the help of expert advisors.

And here we are in December, reflecting on a year that saw us ship over 240 sample kits to pelvic health healthcare professionals across the country and begin conversations about exciting collaborations for the year ahead.

Looking Ahead to 2025

If 2024 was about laying a strong foundation, 2025 is about building momentum. From expanding our wholesale program to exploring collaborations and partnerships, we are ready to take Hem Support Wear to the next level.
